Ⅲ.Eligibility Yunnan Normal University Chinese Government Scholarship 2022
a. Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
b. Applicants who apply for a master degree should have a bachelor’s degree with HSK (level five) 180
scores or above and be under 35 years of age.
c. Applicants who apply for a doctoral degree should have a master’s degree with HSK (level five) 180
scores or above and be under 40 years of age.
d. Applicants who apply for a bachelor degree should have graduated from high school with HSK (level
four) 180 scores or above and be under 25 years of age.

Ⅴ . Application Procedure
a. Applicants must visit https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/login to fill in all the required information,
scan and upload application documents, complete the application procedures and then submit.

c. Applicants should prepare all the application documents according to the following list and send all
electronic application documents to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ⅵ. Application Documents (in duplicates,*are required)
*a. Application Form of Chinese Government Scholarship.
*b. A photocopy of the first page of the passport. (If you are in China, you also need to submit the
latest visa page)
*c. Highest diploma (scanned copies of the original notarized degree certificate and diploma). If
applicants are graduating, they must provide a pre-graduation certificate and submit graduate
certificate and diploma certificate when register. Documents in languages other than Chinese or
English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
*d. Transcripts (scanned copies of the original notarized transcripts). Transcripts in languages other
than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
*e. Photocopies of HSK Certificate.
*f. A study or research plan in Chinese or in English no less than 800 words. (Content: include but not
limited to personal study or work experience, academic research outcome, plan of master or doctoral
program, personal goal after graduation.)
*g. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English written by professors or associate professors.
(Only for Master’s programs and Doctoral programs applicants. The following information must be
included: the title of the recommender, place of work, phone number and email address.)
*h. A photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form and Blood Test Report. Please bring the
original copies when you come to China.
*i. Certificate of No Criminal Conviction. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must
be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

Ⅷ. Acceptance and Notification
In early July, Yunnan Normal University will inform the admission result by email and winners are
required to register within the prescribed time.
*Scholarship students are not allowed to change the receive university once they have registered at
Yunnan Normal University. In principle, they are not allowed to change their major and study duration.
